  • Dr Lim Keng Hua is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He has special interests in nose and sinus diseases and allergies, and is well-versed in managing both adult and children ENT problems such as ear infections, hearing loss, voice disorders, snoring and sleep disorders, salivary gland disorders and thyroid swelling.
  • Dr Lim graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2000. He obtained his postgraduate degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2005 and the Master of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) in 2010. He completed his ENT surgical training in Singapore and was accredited as a specialist in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) in 2013.
  • Dr Lim was awarded a Ministry of Health (MOH) clinical rhinology fellowship award to train in Europe to expand Singapore’s repertoire in the management of rhinology, endoscopic skull base surgery and sinonasal allergy. He trained under world-renowned rhinologist Professor Wytske Fokkens and endoscopic skull base surgeon Professor Christos Georgalas.
  • During his tenure as a consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Lim started the allergy and immunotherapy service to manage difficult nasal allergies and smell disorders. He was the lead ENT tutor and adjunct lecturer at the National Technological University-Imperial College Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a senior clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and a core faculty member in the National Healthcare Group ENT residency programme.
  • With an avid interest in inverted papilloma, nasal polyposis, chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis, Dr Lim has published in local and international journals and has collaborated with several international centres like Beijing Tongren Hospital to improve the management of chronic rhinosinusitis. Dr Lim teaches allergy and rhinology courses, and endoscopic sinus skull base courses organised by Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He also teaches functional endoscopic sinus surgery and skull base courses in Thailand, and is on the panel of reviewers for the International Journal of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology and Rhinology.
  • Dr Lim is a member of the European Rhinologic Society, the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society (Singapore) and the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery. He was an executive member of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of Singapore.
